On 17 August 2019, the hurling community gathered at Clonkill GAA grounds for an extraordinary day of sport and remembrance. The Annabel's All-Stars 7-a-side adult hurling tournament brought together all 15 Westmeath hurling clubs alongside Dublin's Ballyboden St Enda's in a poignant tribute to Annabel Loughlin.
The event showcased the incredible unity of the GAA community, with players, families and supporters coming together in a spirit of commemoration. Through their combined efforts, €44,556 was raised for children's charities, creating a lasting legacy in Annabel's memory.
The tournament structure allowed for competitive yet friendly matches throughout the day, with each club fielding their finest hurlers in a display of skill and sportsmanship that truly honoured the occasion.
